Cocktail Courier

Cocktail Courier is an e-commerce brand that delivers cocktail kits to your front door.

I was brought on by the Cocktail Courier team in early 2021 to help improve the cocktail courier user experience for a few projects. The company sustained massive growth during the pandemic. With people unable to go to bars, and have parties, etc, Cocktail courier became the go-to solution for virtual happy hours, engagements, and baby showers.

Background

Cocktail Courier experienced huge growth in 2020 due to the pandemic.

With bars closed and no in-person gatherings taking place, companies were looking for ways to engage employees virtually.

Problem

Customizations today are manually handled offline. The customer selects customization, pays for it, then a communication cycle is kicked off requiring an internal employee to help setup customizations.

This is a costly, and time intensive process
that should be automated.

Mapping the User Journey

One of the first things I’ve did to better understand the complexities of the flow was to visualize and map out all the different use cases and flows in order to gain a full picture.
